Illustrator and Watercolor Painter

Terms: Contract / As Needed
Compensation: Hourly / Per Job

The Job Details…

  • Drawing, painting and illustration using both pen and watercolor formats.
  • Flexible and collaborative personality, with a willingness to help out and work on a large variety of projects and tasks.
  • Must be reliable, able to follow detailed direction and work quickly.
  • A self-starter with both creativity and versatility in illustration and watercolor painting.
  • Ability to time-manage and juggle multiple deadlines and responsibilities.
  • Must have a good sense of color.
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis in Photoshop and/or Illustrator.

  • Projects will be as needed with the possibility of some required in-studio time.
  • All art-work rendered will be the property of Abigail Christine Design and cannot be used for personal use or re-sold.
  • For the right candidate this could be a definite portfolio builder job or for the stay-at-home parent, who is super talented and looking to dip their toe back into the work-force.

Graphic Design Intern

Terms: Part-time Paid / College Credit
Compensation: $12 / Hour

The Job Details…

  • Assisting in the design and creation of custom wedding paper goods and small business projects.
  • Must be a self-starter, reliable, able to follow detailed direction and work quickly.
  • Must have a good sense of color and typography.
  • Preparing files that a press ready for print.
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Assisting with bindery, assembly and shipping of orders when needed.

  • Guarantees a supportive environment where the right candidate can grow and learn about both the design and print industries.
  • The opportunity to work on both large and small scale client work for clients. A definite portfolio builder!!!
  • Flexible schedule and hours that can be set around your school schedule.

  • Currently pursuing a graphic design degree, junior or senior in a 4-year program (or equivalent experience).
